About Us

Darian Light is a medical light therapy practice in Redondo Beach providing clinically supervised narrowband UVB (NB-UVB) therapy through a structured course of care.

Founded by Bevens Goodman, FNP-C, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with eight years of clinical experience delivering NB-UVB phototherapy, Darian was built around individualized assessment, clinical oversight, personalized dosing, and standardized outcome measurement throughout treatment.

NB-UVB has been used for decades in dermatology. At Darian, it is also being evaluated for people dealing with persistent symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, and reduced function. This is considered off-label use — use for a purpose that has not been reviewed or cleared by the FDA. For these symptoms, treatment response is still being studied.

Each patient begins with an individual clinical evaluation to determine whether treatment may be appropriate. Changes in how patients feel and function are tracked throughout the course so that treatment decisions are based on the individual response over time.

Darian’s goal is to provide a careful, clinically supervised way to explore NB-UVB while being transparent about what is known, what is still being studied, and whether treatment is making a meaningful difference for each patient.
